Is There Really A Safe Nuclear Power?

In the 1940s and 1950s, nuclear power was hailed as the solution to the world’s need for energy. The quiet nuclear reactors could be constructed, and provide unlimited power for generations, without any pollution or exhaust. Unfortunately, there is a certain amount of waste created by nuclear fission, and that waste is extremely deadly. The radioactive waste from nuclear reactors is still being shipped from place to place, as different states reject the contamination and potential problems it could bring. Continue reading

WOULD E-CAT COLD FUSION BE AFFORDABLE TO INDIVIDUALS?

Despite the best efforts of inventors all over the world, fossil fuels are still the most affordable solution to energy. According to some figures, energy from fossil fuels costs from between $66 to $135 per MW hour. What should be the cheapest form of energy – either solar or wind – costs, at a minimum, $95 per MW hour for wind and $210 per MW for solar. This alone is enough to put alternate forms of energy out of reach for most consumers, whether individual or governmental. Continue reading

Andrea Rossi’s E-cat: The Year After Its Introduction

The year of 2011 was definitely a rollercoaster ride for Andrea Rossi and his breakthrough technology called energy catalyzer or simply e-cat. Rossi e-cat was introduced in January last year shaking the scientific and academic world with its claim that it is a working cold fusion device. The emergence became very controversial but the Italian inventor proved to them that he has indeed developed a working cold fusion or LENR technology that can generate large amounts of heat without destroying the environment. 2011 also covered the testing and the beginning of the commercialization of Rossi’s e-cat. Today, Rossi’s USbased company Leonardo Corporation is in thick of many things surrounding the e-cat industry that Rossi wants to complete. Building an e-cat industry has always been a dream of the man behind the first commercially successful LENR in the 21st century. Continue reading

US Company Develops LENR Technology Similar to Rossi E-Cat

Brillouin Energy Corporation, aUScompany, released an official statement that they have developed a working LENR technology that could actually be used as heater. As a matter of fact, the inventor of the technology stated that it could eventually replace coal as the fuel for electric power plants. The revelation was made by Robert Godes, founder and president of Brillouin, and added that it could happen in a few years. Godes was interviewed last week by James Martinez in his radio program called Cash Flow Radio where he enthusiastically discussed his working cold fusion device. He is also Brillouin’s chief technology officer. CEO venture capitalist of the company named Robert George accompanied Godes during the said radio interview where he toldMartinezthat Brillouin is planning to license two LENR technologies to other companies. The business plan received positive response from big companies that contacted Brillouin expressing their interest to work with them. However, George admitted that they are not working with any of them. Continue reading

The Future Looks Brighter With Low Energy Nuclear Reaction Technology

Nowadays, one of the major concerns of many people is the ever rising bills on fuel prices. Every time the oil price increases, commodities and services also become more expensive. The world has become completely dependent on fossil fuels that the industry is capable of holding all of us as economic hostages. This is the reason why when Italian inventor Andrea Rossi announced his invention of the Low Energy Nuclear Reaction powered E-Cat, some sectors welcomed the news enthusiastically. Continue reading

Certifications Are Running Their Course, While Andrea Rossi Is Working On Further R&D

It is no secret that for a successful commercial breakthrough Andrea Rossi needs to be solidly backed up by the safety certifications. The issue of certifications has been one of the crucial ones along the way. It’s one thing to receive certifications for industrial settings, which Rossi has presumably obtained back in October of the last year, before the unveiling of the very first E-Cat fusion plant on October 28. That’s a different matter, however, as these do not require constant “amateur” handling on a daily basis, which domestic E-Cats are going to be subjected to. So fitting certifications are due, and this is what causes the wait on Rossi’s part. He did comment the status on several occasions, saying that the robotization of his factory can’t go full time because they can’t know of all the hoops they will be made to jump in regards to the requirements set upon their device for domestic use, so he is waiting out, meanwhile continuing working on his technology.
